Code of Conduct

Respect & Sportsmanship

• Treat all participants, volunteers, spectators, and officials with respect and courtesy
• Compete fairly and honestly without seeking unfair advantage
• Encourage and support fellow runners regardless of pace or ability
• Accept results gracefully and congratulate other participants
• Refrain from any form of harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior
• Respect the cultural values and traditions of Laos

Safety

• Follow all instructions from race officials, marshals, and emergency personnel
• Stay within designated course boundaries at all times
• Be aware of your surroundings and other runners
• Report any safety hazards or concerns to race officials immediately
• Do not participate if you feel unwell or have a medical condition that could endanger yourself or others
• Use headphones responsibly and remain aware of announcements and other runners

Environmental Responsibility

• Dispose of all waste in designated bins at aid stations
• Do not litter on the course or surrounding areas
• Respect local flora and fauna along the course
• Use water and resources responsibly at aid stations
• Support our efforts to minimize the environmental impact of the event

Race Officials & Volunteers

• Follow all instructions given by race officials and volunteers
• Treat volunteers with appreciation - they are giving their time freely
• Do not argue with officials' decisions during the race
• Submit any complaints or appeals through proper channels after the event
• Thank volunteers and officials for their service

Spectators & Supporters

• Cheer for all participants, not just those you know
• Stay behind barriers and in designated spectator areas
• Do not provide unauthorized assistance to runners on the course
• Follow instructions from event staff and security
• Help create a positive and encouraging atmosphere

Violations & Consequences

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in:
